Gravity Bone is a short game that features a tale of espionage, fun and gorgeous graphics and gameplay that clocks in at, more or less, 20 minutes. However, despite this short game time, the game provides great depth in characters and actually works great in sucking you into its own world. Follow and complete all the mission objectives as a secret agent and complete all stages of the game, yes, all two levels of it.

With Boxycraft, you get a chance to use this little character and maneuver him around. Make him run around, jump and overcome the many different obstacles that come his way. This game has over 10 single player levels and up to 2 players can enjoy and have fun. If you like physics based games and love a great puzzle or two, then this game will fit right on your list.

Obake

Obake is a cool platformer game that features unique and fun gameplay. It is a Japanese platformer game that has a similar gameplay to that of favorites, Mario and Kirby. It's also filled with the same charm and fun elements contained in both games. Enjoy over 50 levels as you play the titular "Obake" or basically, a ghost. Fight and possess more than 20 different enemies and have an excellent time.

Nanosmiles

Nanosmiles is not just another arena shooter game. One of the entries for the Tokyo Games Festival, this little shooter game gives player a different approach towards gameplay as well as the control scheme. In the game, you can use inanimate ships found within your area to target your enemies instead of you attacking directly. It takes a bit of time to get used to this unique style of fighting but once you do get the hang of it, the results are quite interesting.

Cut It

Back in the day, physics based gamea were sparse and hardly available. However, today, it's almost everywhere and there are tons of physics based games that are fun to play. Take for instance, Cut It. It comes from the same makers of Crayon Physics and utilizes the same physics based principle as the latter. The only difference is that you use scissors to cut up blocks and get the white box to hit the green platform. Definitely a fun and intriguing small game.

Journey To The Center of the Earth

Yes, this is one of those games where you play a helmet wearing archeologist trying to uncover several important artifacts from underground. Although Journey to the Center of the Earth is a bit simple especially for those who are masters when it comes to platformer games; it is nonetheless cute and fun to play. Essentially, you get a simple, clean game that will keep you busy for an hour or two.

Dear Agent

Prominent indie developer, Cactus, has done it again. Dear Agent sees you fighting off terrorists in every level; taking out every single one of their equipments while making a speedy and timely exit. It's a bit tedious but ultimately you'll enjoy blasting and fighting your way through all the bad guys in each stage. Dear Agent features several levels and makes the perfect mini break for that barrage of paperwork at the office.

The Black Heart

When your job gets too stressful, and you just want to shake off everything; take a mini break and play The Black Heart. This horror styled, macabre, beat 'em up game will definitely give you your fix. You don't only get to release some stress with this game but the bonus is that it is visually arresting. In fact, I think it rivals most commercial games out there in terms of style and production values. So sit back, relax, pick your favorite characters and start beating the hell out of your oppenent in The Black Heart.

Mental Repairs Inc.

Mental Repairs Inc. is perhaps one of the few true blue psychology games out there. It is the second game from German indie developer Renzo "Eshaktaar" Thönen and it's as promising as his first game, Murder in a Wheel. Mental Repairs Inc., lets you play a "machine psychiatrist," allowing you to assess and fix the mental state of machinery around you. Yes, machines are equipped with A.I. in the future so your job is to make sure that they are in the proper mental state.
