Paper Dreams

Incessantly compared to Ad Nauseum 2, Paper Dreams is an entertaining handrawn shooter from Zack Banack. The game features three difficulty levels, but even the "Easy" option will test out even the most patient gamers. This shooter was created for the GameJolt Weekend Jam and was done in basically two days. Despite the short creation period, the game is insanely difficult to even finish. According to the developer's site, the game is ported to flash by Kristian Macanga. If you're up for a good challenge, then you might want to give this one a go and see if you can even finish one level.

Lux Touch

If you loved strategy games like, Risk, back in the day; you might find a new bestfriend in the presence of Lux Touch. This is only the lite version of Lux Deluxe but you'll find that it's more than enough to give you a great time. The game sees you looking to take over the world by expanding and owning continents. It features simple but colorful graphics, a somewhat complex gameplay (especially for those who have not tried Risk before) and a cool interface that's heightened by the touch function of the iPad and iPhone screen. Worth trying out if you love any type of conquest game. The best part is, it's all available for free.

If you adore the many marble rolling games and apps available, you'll certainly enjoy Manic Marble. A freeware game, this one is done completely in 3D so it's definitely something new compared to the old school 2D marble rolling games or applications. The game was created by Richard Olson and thanks to the rendering it's become quite realistic and interactive. Some people have even reported experiencing motion sickness while playing the game. 0space is a cool game that was developed for TIGSource's versus-themed competition. This amazing game can accommodate between 2-4 players at any one time on the same PC. It was created by Beau Blyth and definitely a game worth trying. The game is still in its beta stages but it has been slowly gaining a solid fanbase. It only features 8 maps right now but there are plans to expand, eventually. It also gives players a good range of deathmatch options, amazing gameplay and so much more. Dropship

Originally available for sale on the iPhone store, Ngmoco has finally changed their minds and made Dropship available as a free download. Praised by many as "one of the best shooter games" on the device; it's certainly won its fair share of fans. The game allows you to test your skills as a dropship captain; ferrying human passengers using tractor beams. Graphics feature a colorful Tron-esque world of blocks and beams. This is the fourth game from the developers and it seems that they definitely got it down to pat. It's an excellent game that's certainly worth checking out. Grab the download and start playing!

The Legend of Edgar

If you are a fan of old school arcade games, then it's not hard to notice that The Legend of Edgar is heavily inspired by the iconic game, Legend of Zelda. It's not just the graphics that reflect the Nintendo title, but also the gameplay. Crazy Over Goo

Crazy Over Goo is the brainchild of quirky and entertaining game developer, Banov. This little platformer lets you control a little yellow goo or ball that is in pursuit of his one and only. Although it's not exactly a sequel, it was made as a follow-up to the developer's Assassin Blue. The game is actually a simple point and click adventure that contains 50 or so levels of fun things that you need to do. It also offers a cool level editor as well as plenty of unlockables to enjoy. Crazy Over Goo was initially released back in 2009 and was first known as Yellow Goo Love. If you need something simple but definitely entertaining to play, then you're looking at that game. Tiny Barbarian

Tiny Barbarian is a cute little platformer where you play a minuscule barbarian who falls in love with the enemy. In this case, a mysterious frost woman who appears out of nowhere bringing in hordes of zombies, wolves and other enemies down your path. The game is simple but it's very entertaining and fun to play. It was developed by Michael Stearns and the music was especially created by Jeff Ball. It's a game worth checking out. Precision is an interesting platformer from one of the most prominent indie game developers today, Cactus. This one's about 3 years old but it's still very entertaining to play. Basically, your goal is to jump atop several buildings while collecting green bottles along the way. The game was initially created last 2008 and has gained quite a lot of fans, like most Cactus games often do. Taking a cue from the title, the game requires plenty of precision when it comes to helping the little dude get through each level.
