Under Open Skies is the first of a two part EP, featuring tracks created by Stevenson over a span of 2 years. He felt that the songs didn't go together well as a set of one compilation so he divided it into bite-sized pieces for listeners to enjoy. This first one, Side A, is composed of upbeat indie acoustic pop cuts that feature the singer in a more happy-go-lucky mood. The second part, Side B, has a more experimental, edgy mix of tracks according to the singer.

All of the members are under 20 and even though there's still room for growth; there's already plenty potential brewing from their pot. Known for his minimalistic style, the artist has created a record that includes 3 originals and 2 remixes. Coupled with the occasional vocal sample and ethnic instrumentation, the record is a moody compilation that crosses boundaries.

Cinema Sleep: Make Your Way EP

Clearly bearing some rock genes on them, Cinema Sleep is a five-piece crew that's all set to impress you with their awesome rock sound. Led by Brad Reis on vocals, he's joined by Alex Asch on lead guitar, Trevor Johnson on guitar/vocals, Ryan Meyers on bass and Kevin Vincent on drums. According to the group, their "passion for music has brought us together to form the perfect lineup to create a sound that is uniquely our own." Make Your Way is the band's big debut EP and from the sound of things, they'll be here to stay for a good long while.

A short and sweet teaser EP, Reinventions contains only 4 tracks. Regardless, this is more than enough to make you want to find out more about the band. Opus Orange is actually a personal project by long time music mixer Paul Bessenbacher. It took him some time to finally release this short compilation as he focused on his main work of helping bands mix their own sound. Judging from the gems in this EP, he really should find more time recording and releasing his own material. Featuring beautiful indie folk pop, the EP is a real treat. It's upbeat, catchy and highly enjoyable.

Taking the typical new wave/hipster sound and weaving it together with lush melodies and colorful instruments. The band is from Toronto and this EP serves as their debut compilation. It came out back in 2010 and has been praised for their distinctively likable sound.
