“Small Penis” – a short film by Stian Hafstad

A graduation film by a group of students led by writer Stian Hafstad, “Small Penis” briefly chronicles the story of Daniel who has huge insecurities about the size of his penis. Produced with a budget of US$400-500 and filmed in only five days in Bergen, Norway, this amusing short film is very well written, shot and composed of surprisingly good, convincing actors. For a film title, “Small Penis” gives a lot, despite its size. Different folks will have different reactions, naturally. Some will be quickly amused, others displeased, and others, stoked.

Paris-Chicago by NO [Olivier Nataf] – a Frenchman with a Heart for American Blues

American blues jazz with a French aftertaste. An almost fool-proof formula for creating pop funk music for this French singer includes a "few notes of Blues, a zest of Funk, a tear of Soul." Bizarrely calling himself, NO, French musician Olivier Nataf creates his own brand of blues jazz inspired tracks that are laced with French lyrics. Paris - Chicago compiles 10 tracks that serve as a bridge connecting the American landscapes to that of the French. If you wonder what the blues sounds like with an international flair, NO, would be one act worth checking out.

Return of the Ghostbusters [A Fan Film] – The Denver Ghostbusters are Back

If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? This might not be "the" Ghostbusters movie everybody is waiting for neither is it the best fan made one, but it certainly is a lot of fun to watch. Moreover, it is especially satisfying to those who have been waiting for so long for the actual film to get picked up. Return of the Ghostbusters is a fan made film that follows the Denver Ghostbusters as they fight off an Egyptian apparition. Created as a sequel to the cult hit Freddy VS Ghostbusters, this movie is enjoyable to watch as long as you're not picky about getting non-Hollywood quality productions.

Tachaaan! A Karmic Tale – Free Animated Short Film

Everybody knows that an elephant doesn’t forget. In “Tachaaan!” we further learn that an elephant does know how to get even. “Tachaaan!” is a funny animated film done by Rafael Cano (Rafiki), Carlos del Olmo and Miguel A. Bellot. It is produced by Nicolás Matji at La Fiesta Producciones. It will remind you of some Tom and Jerry moments while you're laughing like a kid in some of the scenes -- if you're in a good mood.

“Nemesis” – award winning superhero short film

If you are a fan of comic book heroes and if you fantasize of having superpowers, you should watch “Nemesis.” “Nemesis” is a short film (about 8 minutes) produced by a group of students for a school project in the University of Bergen in Norway. While it would be easy to excuse the shortcomings of films made by students, I am glad there is no reason to forgive the filmmakers for anything in Nemesis. It has the quality of a professional's touch right from the concept to post production finishes.

The Singletons by The Singletons – British Mod Influenced Spanish Scenesters

No nonsense garage rock with a surfer's flair. When hearing The Singletons for the first time, you would automatically think it was an updated version of the Kinks. A mix of surfer music, brit pop rock garage combined with slightly offbeat enunciation. However, The Singletons are in fact from Barcelona and released their brand of music only about 2-3 years ago. Although this type of music has been played and re-played by various other bands, there's no doubt that it sill holds its appeal under the hands of this band. Check out their 11 tracks and judge for yourself.

Sever “Coma Circle” LP – hardcore scream metal

With a great mix of hardcore metal and rock that will knock your socks off, Sever is a band worth listening to. With the traditional line-up change expected from a band that's more than a decade old, Sever's current lineup is as perfect as can be. Coma Circle features 10 tracks filled with energy and rawness that's hard to find nowadays. Perhaps the fact that they are relatively unknown (as of yet) adds to the appeal, but this German band certainly deserves a chance to be heard.
