Snapimals from BebopBee combine elements of park simulation building and animal photography for a unique game. You are the new photographer at an animal island park, and it’s your job to take photos of the fauna for display at the island’s museum to entice visitors, but there’s a lot more to this than that.

Sky Whale

Sky Whale proved to be popular in the show, so much so that there’s now a real mobile game based on it available for the iOS and Android, and it’s a good one too.

Lara Croft: Relic Run

Lara Croft: Relic Run from Square Enix is an endless runner version of the popular Tomb Raider franchise. The endless runner genre already has a lot of titles, but to the developer’s credit the game isn’t just a tired copycat as it also incorporates new elements that raise it above the run of the mill stuff.

Minions Paradise

Minions Paradise is a town builder game courtesy of EA, who is no stranger to these kinds of titles. Here, the Minions are on a cruise when Phil accidentally sinks the ship and they get stuck on an island where they the idea to open a resort. This is the set up where you play the resort / base / city / town building game, and it’s actually a pretty cool one.

Need A Hero

Need a Hero from Alis Games might look like just another match three puzzle game, but the similarity to those other games is minimal. In Need a Hero, a princess has been abducted by an evil dragon and you have to rescue her, and you do this by matching tiles, but there are twists here that aren’t present in other puzzles.

Floors

There are a lot of complex games on mobile for those who want an immersive experience, and there are also titles for those who want something more casual. A good example of the latter is Floors by Ketchapp. Just like their other games, the concept is simple, impossible to beat and highly addictive.

Dawn of Steel

Dawn of Steel from publisher Flare Games is a mobile strategy mech-based game, and the basic elements are familiar to gamers: construct a base, raise your army, attack the enemy to get resources and strengthen your base. However, this RTS game does bring some unique features to the table that make it a good game.

The Walking Dead: Road to Survival

The Walking Dead: Road to Survival from Scopely is a turn based RPG based on the popular comic books. The game takes place when Philip Blake gets to Woodbury just before he became the Governor. This game by the way, focuses on the comic books, so don’t expect much resemblance with the TV series, but this is still a cool game.
