This cross platform program can also be used by third party programs and it has some web scripting support too.

Canva is a graphics and photo editing app that removes the complexity that comes with designing posters, cards, page presentations and webpage graphics. While essentially a graphics layout app, there’s more than enough built-in photo editing tools here, so no need to download another app to edit images.

Perfect Effects 9

Perfect Effects 9 from On One Software is an image editor that you can also use to work with Photoshop, Lightroom or Aperture. The program is free to download, but you’ll need online access to activate the first time you use it. Once you’ve filled up the simple form, you can download the program, and there’s a lot of good stuff here.

Open Freely is free Windows program that allows you to open more than 100 different file formats. Developed by Blue Labs, you can use it to open files from Word, WordPerfect, Excel and Adobe as well as audio video formats like mpeg, 3gp, and .flac and images too.

Dubsmash from Mobile Motion is a simple messaging program that allows you to make short selfie video records and share them with your friends. Messages can be sent in single one on one or group threads, and each one can have videos and text, and what makes this unique is you can choose from a number of famous quotes and dub yourself over them, which can be pretty funny.

GoPro app is the official app for the GoPro camera, courtesy of Woodman Labs, and it’s definitely a must. With this you get more from your camera using either the iOS, Android or Windows Phone.
