Creevity

Creevity is a program designed to track the album art of mp3 music files and acts as a helping hand in the organisation of a music library. All it takes is one click. Furthermore, ‘no matter to which folder you move your mp3 file, the saved cover will always be there for you’. With its simple interface, this program can be accessed by everyone. All one has to do is select the programs file menu, add a desired folder and then pick from a list of suggestions. Creevity not only allows you to add album covers to mp3s; it also enables a user to change, delete or add alternative images to an mp3 file.

Poton

Are you a fan of the Bomberman series? Poton gives you something to be happy about if you are. This cool, Japanese arcade game features a similar gameplay to classics like Pacman or Bomberman. Playing it will definitely bring in a lot of nostalgia for most old school gamers. Like most classic games, this one has a very simple gameplay to master. It basically consists of you being inside a maze and doing what you can to kill off the enemy one by one. The game has a very entertaining and quite addictive gameplay; a feature that most classic games have mastered.

Pucca’s Restaurant

Pucca's Restaurant is one of those game that's so hard to put down. Not only does it feature a familiar (and quite popular) character, it also incorporates great gameplay to the mix. The game puts you in the shoes of a cute little Korean girl who is aspiring to become one of the best chefs around. You start off as a mere underling and have to work your way up the ladder in a 5-star restaurant. You can slowly reach your goal by keeping customers happy and serving them great dishes. Like most sim games, this one provides tons of fun features. Worth checking out if you'd like something to get busy with during your spare time.

Synfig Studio

Synfig Studio might not be the simplest software to master but once you get it up and running, you'll have a 2D animation software that rivals most of its contemporaries. The best part of all is that it's absolutely free. The program was created to serve as an alternative animation tool and features plenty of features essential to a 2D artists arsenal. Development of the program was spearheaded by Robert Quattlebaum, lead software engineer and founder of the now defunct, Voria Studios. Professionals and non-professional animators will benefit from having this program. It's a software that's packed with features to make work easier and more polished.

Gun Bros

If you have an affinity for shooter games where you get to be the hero, shoot tons of bad guys and eventually save the day, Gun Bros is for you. The storyline isn't much, in fact, it's as predictable as can be. You're simply a gun toting special soldier who is bent on carrying your mission: "to protect the cosmos from the Tyrannical Oppressors of Life known as T.O.O.L." Armed with tons and tons of guns, you have to defend yourself against waves of enemies. They start off quite easy to kill but as you progress, you'll encounter bigger bad guys that'll test your skills. The game is offered absolutely free and plays on your iOs and Android devices beautifully.

DropCopy

For mac users everywhere who are looking for an easy way to share files from one computer to their iPhone, iPad or other mac computers, DropCopy is the perfect software to have. Looking like an alien ring logo sitting on your desktop, this little software is quite easy to use and will definitely save time and effort in transferring files. With its simple drag and drop function, the program makes it possible to share documents, images, and other things between computers that have DropCopy installed. The program is free for personal use, allowing you to hook up to 3 devices. If you need to share with more devices, there's a Pro version available for a certain fee.

Warthogs

Even though Harry Potter has officially ended, its legacy still lives on. Just take a look at the countless merchandise and spin-offs that remain. Speaking of spin-offs, Warthogs is one of the many tribute/parody games celebrating the story of the young boy wizard. The game was created by Crystal Shard and is a few years old but trust me, every second is still worth playing. In it, you play as Larry Lotter, a slacker who's about to take his final exam. The only problem is that Larry spent the entire night partying and is now late for class. Warthogs combines sarcasm with innovative gameplay and great graphics to bring you an exciting, almost offensive Harry Potter parody you'll certainly enjoy.

Image Tricks Lite

There are already countless image editing software available for free download online but like many things, there's always room for one more. Image Tricks is one of the new kids on the block. Like the new kid, it comes with tons of bling that he's eager to show around. The program was created by Belight Software, which also offers plenty of cool, free software that users can download. It uses the Mac OSX Core Image as well as the Quartz Composition for editing. This nifty program is packed with cool features that most image editors and beginners will find useful. Best of all, the program is offered absolutely free. Give it a try.

Stratus (Richard Edwards)

Another entry into what's now become a mecca of indie gaming goodness: Stratus is one of the hundreds of entries to the Ludum Dare game competition. Created by Richard Edwards, the game features interesting pixel style artwork and a pretty cool gameplay. For the uninitiated, Ludum Dare Competition has been around for years now. It's an event where independent gamers create an entire game in as little as 48 hours. Each game revolves around a certain theme that's announced before the start of the competition. For this one, more than 500+ entries have already been submitted, among them this cool puzzler from Edwards.
