Chris Trapper: Into The Bright Lights

Humble and sincere are two words you'll find attached to most of Chris Trapper's songs. Having a sweet and endearing vocal chops also helps add to the sincerity of the songs he's singing. Trapper was a former vocalist for 90s alternative rock band, The Push Stars. The band released a number of albums and went on various national tours. Eventually, the singer went solo and is best known for his contribution to the soundtrack of the movie, August Rush. Into The Bright Lights is a 7-track EP offered by the artist at a pay-what-you-want option over at BandCamp.

The Early Reset: Full Potential EP

The Early Reset enthralls pop rock fans in Full Potential EP . Blasting with intricate instrumentation polished into shiny pristine notes, the five tracks in this album supercharges the listeners into a one-of-a-kind musical sensation. The Early Reset was created by singer/songwriter Steven Arthur four years ago, but went on a temporary hiatus after he moved to Hawaii.

T.S. Woodward: Demonstrations

Having the gift to play quite a number of musical instruments, the singer-songwriter from Athens, Georgia surely has a lot to offer in the waning genre of Rock Hop n Roll. His music style can be described as eccentric, dynamic, as well as piano-centric matched with pop songwriting and lyrics.

The Graveyard Kids: My Only Company

Much of My Only Company was meant to be a lo-fi acoustic compilation by Chadbourne Oliver, however, life had other plans. Joined by musician friends, they re-recorded the bulk of the album; added a rock touch to create a set of gauzy Brooklyn indie rock. Their initial recording, as luck would have it, suffered a setback when the computer that had all the files, crashed. They ended up recording it one more time at Mama Coco's Funky Kitchen in Brooklyn. Third time seems to be a charm for the guys as they're set to impress with their debut record.

Callaghan: 40 States and Counting

Many years and counting, and we’re still looking for that seminal pop-rock record to stimulate our bubbly senses. A worthy contender comes in the form of Callaghan, a relatively new female act that possesses a solid set of heart-wrenching tunes. Born as Georgina Callaghan, the 31-year-old prodigy has been hard at work since the latter part of the previous decade, and hasn’t stopped ever since.

The All-About: Suburban Heart

Some of the best music probably stems from one’s reminiscences about his or her hometown, and Suburban Heart is no exception. In his latest project, Zac Coe – The All-About is his pseudonym – solely mans the boat, almost. Well, yeah, he’s enlisted some friends, but the nitty-gritty, such as the autoharp and the glockenspiel, are entirely his.

Ben Rector: Ben Rector

Sometimes, underrated is good. It gives the artist more leeway to showcase his talents and let the public judge him based on that alone. Such is the case with the talented Ben Rector, who — I’ll shamefully admit — I didn’t know until a few moments ago. Upon browsing his bio and his discography, dude’s pretty much made, providing some of his compositions as soundtracks to hit TV series.
