So Close to Midnight EP is an inspiring dance pop/rave EP that'll make a good soundtrack for when you want to shake off those chilly summer nights and just dance. Flashlights is the moniker for Denver duo, Ethan and Alex. Ever since they came out, they've been impressing tons of fans and listeners. Even managing to get themselves named as among NME's Buzzworthy Acts as well as featured in other prominent magazines. The band has been enjoying great exposure while performing high profile gigs and becoming staples to various festival venues. Listening to this, it's not hard to see why.

TK Paradza: WallPaper

WallPaper is the latest effort from singer/songwriter, TK Paradza. This 13-track record from the Zimbabwe-born singer, features melt-your-heart vocals and a beautiful set of catchy songs that would make most R&B/pop fans happy. Paradza counts musicians like Craig David, Usher, Keith Sweat and Michael Jackson as among his influences. Judging from this album, TK seems to have what it takes to make a solid impression on fans and listeners.

Receptacle Magazine is a quarterly digital magazine that focuses on anything about the arts. Founded back in 2010, the magazine interviews artists, shares music from various, exciting bands and overall, just showcases their love for art. Receptacle Magazine Vol#3 is the accompanying mix for their third issue. Consisting of 10 tracks from different artists that play music ranging from eclectic folk, indie & new wave to rock. Some of the bands and artists featured in the record include Boris Smile, Doctor KA, The House, Spazzkid among others.

Mike Roy: Mike & Eileen Chapter One

After years in the music scene, Mike Roy has finished his best work yet and it's ready to burn and wake-up the senses. Hailing from Raleigh, NC, this Lewisdale, Maryland-raised artist started his music by forming a band called The Whistlestop. After making a record and playing numerous shows, He went back on working solo in 2009 producing a home-recorded album entitled ShotFriction. Spanning a hefty 13-track collection, Mike & Eileen Chapter One is Roy's latest musical effort. It's a folk pop album fuelled by undeniable passion and musical talent.

The Vancouver-based folk/rock collective is the creative brainchild of performer/songwriter Colyn Cameron. Combining some melodic singing with skillfully played guitars; the album explodes with passion, rich arrangements and stories about life.

Attention: Tattered Youth

It seems there's no stopping rock band, Attention, as they release their latest compilation album, Tattered Youth. They hit the pages of the Frostclick blog a couple of months ago with their previous alternative rock offering, Through the Wire. Still containing catchy alternative tracks, this new album features 12 cuts including a music video for the title single. The boys are also offering this one for a pay-what-you-want download over at their BandCamp page.

Jeff Carl: EP

In Jeff Carl’s latest EP, the NY based singer/songwriter is in his honest, fun, live-in-the-moment attitude. Released last August 16, 2011 under Q Productions , this latest musical effort features five acoustic pop songs that are ready to hit the radio waves. Intro track I’ll Be Gone Tomorrrow is packed with just the right dose of sunshine to lift the gloomy days ahead. Jeff’s radio-polished vocals is a treat to the ears.
