Rushmore/Twin Cabins: Clementine

Also known as Twin Cabins, the musical project is spearheaded by Mexico City-born, Nacho Cano. Cano was exposed to music at a young age and began to record through throughout his adolescence. He has accumulated a number of recordings, which were mostly done in his bedroom. Most of the tracks he does are dreamy and represent a portion of the songwriter’s loneliness and his youth.

Tan Yu Quan: The Caterpillar Sandwich

Sweet and charming. Those are the first two words you’ll probably think of when you hear this short but solid EP from Tan Yu Quan. Although not much is out there about the singer, he is from Singagpore and the charming EP is his first proper release. The entire four tracks were recorded from home and served simply as a personal project for the young musician. Despite being a home recording, the EP sounds quite polished and emanates with beautiful acoustic pop tracks throughout.

Narrow Sparrow: Synthworks

Although a bit bizarre when you first listen to it, Synthworks from Narrow Sparrow grows on you over time. This short compilation is only 4-tracks long but there's enough things to dissect and check out that makes it highly entertaining. Narrow Sparrow comes from Chicago and is made up of Ricky, Dina and Matt.

Yellowbirddd: Missing

Liam McCormack is the man behind the ethereal indie folk outfit, Yellowbirddd. The moniker is a bit unusual but it does lend a nice touch to the sound that he creates. Armed with an acoustic guitar, a slight reverb and some endearingly sweet sound; Missing serves as a record to get lost into after a bad breakup or maybe if you simply need a breather from all the loud music . This is the third compilation from the Brooklyn, New York artist. His previous works include Random & Rare, Summer 2010 tour EP, and Hard Feelings which are all available as a free download over at his BandCamp page.
