Emerald Park: Things EP

Take a stroll through the ‘emerald park’, where random ‘things’ abound, except for a dull time. Hailing from Malmö, Sweden, the guys and gal (only one) of Emerald Park surely know how to cook some infectious tunes.

NEWMEN: Sunhouse EP

Traverse the pop jungle wilderness with NEWMEN‘s latest EP Sunhouse. In this five-track collection, the five-piece band from Germany treats our ears with a sound experience oscillating between asphalt, sound, and disco.

Hanson: 21 Years of Music

No further introduction on this one: the boys of Hanson are wiping off their “Mmmbop” personas once and for all! Celebrating their 21 years in the industry – can you believe it? – Zac, Isaac, and Taylor are releasing this 5-track EP as a sort-of recap of highlights within their recent years. It’s mostly composed of live tracks, so the listening experience is akin to being a part of the crowd, screaming and all that.

The Gorgeous Chans: Jaguar Club

Another band to hit the UK indie music scene is The Gorgeous Chans, and it looks like their fiesta beats are here to stay. After releasing two hit EPs last year, the 6-piece act returns with a 3-track collection – Jaguar Club – of fun, folk-infused, upbeat pop that might just take your playlists by storm.

There are new kids in the indie block and looks like their cool enough to stay. Phox, a Baraboo, WI-based band, is composed of Monica Martin, Matt Roberts, Zach Johnston, Matt Holmen, Cheston Van Huss, and Jason Krunnfysz. Their February release entitled Confetti transforms county highway music into an indie pop machine.

Child Actor: Partner

If you think a union between R&B and electronica is impossible, then you might need to rewire your hearing. Intermingling synth pop with rhythmic percussion beats, their debut EP Partner has set the stage on what was to become their trademark sound.
