Nine Stories LP embraces pop acoustic music far more than most have ever dared. Being the brainchild of 80's born musician/composer Nacho Ruiz, the musical project is rooted in a pop acoustic sentimentality, but is certainly not limited by the form. By incorporating a plethora of instrumentations, Ruiz stretches his music in some very interesting directions.

Released last 25 October 2011, the album showcase eight tracks that sports Shinn's musical mantra which is to write music for music's sake. Approaching with steady drum beats, Nothing To Fake welcomes the listener with nostalgic piano keys and an explosion of electro spurs and handclapping rhytms.

Stop, Breathe by Runna, C.Luk, and J-Dub opens the album with potent rapping and clean sexy vocals. Right Hook's Too Long follows up with an experimental fusion of oriental strings and hiphop beat that's really ear-catching.

A remnant from the bygone era of 90s alternative pop rock, Diamond Youth would've have stood comfortably alongside bands like Jimmy Eat World. Don't Lose Your Cool rolls in with a bunch of catchy indie alternative tracks that resemble an awesome college radio playlist. You'd never guess it from their current sound but the members of the Baltimore crew came from hardcore bands, Trapped Under Ice and Down To Nothing. They're currently making waves with their brand of quieter yet catchy sound with this compilation.

His Statue Falls: Collisions Remixed

His Statue Falls is a unique band in that they combine various genres to weed out their own characteristic sound. Mixing techno, screamo, pop and breakdowns; the German group dubbed their sound as "techcore." Music catches on fast and soon they were playing at more than 150 shows and other groups started to create a similar sound. Not to be deterred, the band pushed forward and continue to mold their music according to their taste. Collisions Remixed is based off their debut record and contains a spin off of some of their best tracks from the album.

Her soulful voice is what captures the listeners attention while her skillful and melodic music creates a beautiful playground for her lyrics. The Micah Pact is a 7-track EP that the artist wrote over a period of years. It's a collection of tracks that expresses the artists' reaction as she grapples"with suffering, both my own and others’. Divorce, fatherlessness, loneliness, broken families, disease, poverty, untimely death...." The album is an answer of sorts and a way of understanding and coping as well.

Hailing from Australia, Paper Plane Project is Mason Kimber and Nick Bennett. Sharing a love for old records and soulful beats, the duo started making music together after a record-digging trip to Brazil.
