The Ease Down: Shapeshifter

Singer/songwriter, Ben Wilkins, is best known for his band, indie piano pop rock group, The Ease Down. This Montreal native loves to create honky tonk jazz pop rock with his piano as well as incorporate some lyrical melody to his songs about love and life. Shapeshifter is the first album from this group and comes with 10 tracks filled with good vibes that's perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

Hot Fiction: Dark Room

Hot Fiction is a singing duo from England made up of Andy Yeoh on drums/vocals and Simon Miller on guitars. Now, from the opener "Start if Off," it's hard not to liken the group to another famous duo, The White Stripes. With their pounding drum beats and signature jangly guitars, Hot Fiction is definitely on the right track. Dark Room nicely blends jazz, blues, garage and hardrock into one fine and very hot mess.

The Black Sunn: GodSound

East Baltimore emcee, The Black Sunn, vividly illustrate life's good and bad points. GodSound is the latest offering from this talented emcee. Unlike most hip hop albums, this one resonates with positivity, but it doesn't ignore the reality of life as well. This is the second full length record from the rapper. With its poetic lyrics, dope beats and honest look at life; it's definitely an album worth checking out.

Will Hammond Jr.: Soul Folk Continued

Neosoul progressive tracks with a touch of funk. Will Hammond Jr. likes to put on his sunglasses as he transforms into his alter ego, Soul Folk. Hammond is best known as a singer/songwriter who helped pen the Billboard hit for Tara Kemp, "Hold You Tonight." With the success of his songwriting prowess proven, he moves on to recording his own tracks and debuted his first album Soul Folk Continued in 2004.

Progressive rock like no other from the Russian Federation. Bio chemists by day to prog rock minor gods at night, Disen Gage creates a fusion of jazz, rock and ethnic sound that doesn't shy away from complexities. Disen Gage creates music that incorporates highly intelligent/methodical rock and an experimental yet fun ethnic sound. The Screw Loose Entertainment easily passes off as a fourth King Crimson album.

Multi-talented hip hop artist and FrostClick staple, K. Sparks, has just dropped his second installment from his Trilogy tapes, Chapter 2. Presented by Kevin Nottingham this time around, Chapter 2 showcases 10 fresh tracks filled with classic hip hop beats and mixed to perfection. A constant presence in the online rap/hip-hop community, K. Spark's previous releases - Definition, Trilogy: Chapter 1 and Super Senior among others, have been well-received by fans and winning over new followers every day.

Sébastien Gramond: It’s A Beautiful Death [2009]

Beautiful 70s style pop psychedelic jazz rock that your parents can relate to. It's A Beautiful Death is a compilation of 16 beautifully crafted tracks that echo the psychedelic 70s, and yes, it does somewhat trigger the same effect as how you would imagine it to be if you were on some illicit substance. Sebastien Gramond is a French multi-instrumentalist that certainly takes things to a higher level. His music is fun, enjoyable and easy to listen to no matter what type of music you're into.

Screenatorium: Blue Morning EP

Acoustic downtempo beats that makes you wish trip hop reigns supreme once again. Screenatorium is like the long lost trip hop band that should have come out of the 90s; back when it was still the heyday of trip hop music. Not to say that their style is outdated, but it certainly brings back a lot of 90s trippy bands to mind. Screenatorium is a French band primarily headed by composer and musician Djeh. He enlists the help of Nawelle Saidi and Nelly Burn on vocals as well as Niet who serves as official graphist. Their mellow music definitely sparks interest and is perfect for a relaxing afternoon filled with mood music.

Leslie Hunt: Your Hair is on Fire

Season 6 Top 24 American Idol finds music off Idol stage. For Leslie Hunt, American Idol was certainly quite an experience. Reaching the top 24 was definitely was a dream come true for this new mother. Despite being voted off, Leslie continues on after stepping off the Idol stage. Your Hair is on Fire is Leslie's first album and from the way it sounds, it seems that she's definitely grown as an artist and musician. The album is filled with jazzy, alternative pop tracks that boasts of Leslie's powerful and slightly raspy vocals.
