Downtempo folk acoustic group, Davy Long, brings in sleepy lullabies in "Babies." This acoustic, folk pop album is filled with quiet, lofi tracks with a touch of psychedelia. For the band's first official album, it seems to be treading on the right path. Davy Long compiles music that's ambient, delicate and a bit eclectic. It serves as the perfect mood setter for a lazy, gloomy morning.

Peter Wickstrom Band: Clear Sky

To say that Clear Sky by Peter Wickstrom Band is a great and relaxing album is a complete understatement. According to the band, they wanted to focus on a different approach when it came to music. Instead of creating romantic love songs, they focused on creating songs that tackle "clarity and stability." The resulting album is a beautiful and melodic set of cuts that's well-balanced and definitely relaxing. Its hard not to fall in love with the album especially after a couple of listens.

After deciding to move from Seattle to the country of Slovakia, Abscondo, started recording his first few indie pop acoustic tracks. According to the artist, his moniker not only serves as a nice artist name but it also reflects his own lifestyle. Fo(u)r Colors is a 4 track EP that includes songs from his new and upcoming album. His first release Midnight Show is also available for free download and is quite popular in Jamendo.

British acoustic folk pop act, Jespa or j*e*s*p*a "are an acoustic folk, soul and blues duo based in london, playing their hearts out to everyone who'll listen." That description from their Myspace might sound generic but they do have a great set of cuts to back them up. Their 5 track self-titled EP is filled with lush and melodic cuts that make you wish you had it playing as background music for every quiet and lonely moment you ever have.

Benoit Stanek: 18

Soothing folk pop album that takes you on a journey to the French aisles. With beautiful acoustic guitar and soft melodic strumming, this album makes you feel as if you're sitting somewhere in a gorgeous French garden, enjoying a warm, sunny day. Benoit Stanek is an 18 year old student at the Lycee Louis-le-Grand in Paris, considered to be one of the most demanding secondary schools in France.

Ralph Buckley: Morning Star

Drunk, quirky and full of good old freak folk, indie, pop rock music. Morning Star by Ralph Buckley is one album you'll want to brace yourselves for. If you think that the cover art is a bit odd, it's actually quite fitting. The record is filled with weird and unexpected lyrics coupled with acoustic guitars and enchanting atmospheres. Just one, out of several albums released for free under creative commons; this is truly one compilation worth checking out.
