X A Free Techno Compilation Album from Phlow Magazine

X A Free Techno Compilation, is brought to us by Techno Blast | Phlow in cooperation with DJ Meeting. This is their first (and free) creative commons techno compilation. The compilation producers boast of a carefully designed selection that includes the best of the past and present indie artists. The tracks mostly came from different netlabels, but one track is exclusive to X . This track is from Sudio, who remixed "Sonic Impact" just to render more edge into this compilation.

Be Shareful – Cologne Commons 3rd Compilation

There is "sharefulness" in the music biz again as Cologne Commons has released "Be Shareful," its third compilation of ambient music featuring electro-folk chillout sounds. The first and second Cologne Commons music compilations were well-received by music enthusiasts around the world, which makes this third issue a much awaited follow up. As in the past editions, this compilation is named after Cologne City in Germany, where a festival for free music is held every year.

Camp Z “Mental Straitjacket” – free punk/post punk/industrial album under Creative Commons

This album reminds me of Nine Inch Nails, less Trent Reznor vocals and more punk/post punk elements. Camp Z fuses together punk, post punk and industrial like a well-made milkshake. With Mental Straitjacket, the band has achieved a conundrum of noise industrial rock that takes the listener into the depths of his mind and forces him to stare at it right into the face. This is the band's latest album, counting back to their first release back in 2006. Camp Z is Manu Zorch, Dvrr, JP, and Mascozis creating music that conjures up visions of "a twisted oldfashioned echo."

Worriedaboutsatan: EP1

Worriedaboutsatan is Gavin Miller and Tom Ragsdale. Their first EP is self-titled but popularly labeled as EP1 by the group. It was initially released back in 2006 and is no longer in print. However, it is available for a free download under a Creative Commons license. Describing themselves as playing “electronic music with heart and soul,” the band certainly makes this apparent in their music. With various hints of electronic, indie and post rock integrated into their songs, it’s not tough to love.

ESPSIX “Older is Better” – house music at its best, exclusively free via FrostWire

Another offering from FrostClick's and FrostWire's favorite DJ from Czech Republic, ESPSIX. Following the success of "Collection of House Music" available via FrostWire a good few months ago, he comes back with his newest album - "Older is Better". We are very honored that "Older is Better" is exclusively available via FrostClick and FrostWire and is absolutely free for everybody for non-commercial use.

Vate: Volt

Vate, a Mexican electro-music artist, is one certainly to be recommended. From the very beginning of Volt, his latest record, one finds that it is a release that cannot be neglected. There are some Kraftwerk influences there, and Turismo, the first tune of the LP, is a Tour de France for the modern era, when car rallies replaces bicycle ones. Orient Stress follows, and it's been the most energetic one composed by Vate, almost an EBM piece with a highly recomme

Spheriot “Bekennerschreiben” – techno and hard rock mashed up with indie pop, in English and German

Behind Spheriot is one man who literally does everythingfrom the composition of music to the recording of all his songs. The result? A provocative album entitled Bekennerschreiben. According to the singer and writer himself, all of the songs in the fourteen-track album is a result of music from the heart and head. They were all produced in Spheriots living room. For someone who just toys around with his Mac, Spheriot was able to impress with his surprisingly refreshing take on music.

In[Perfektion] “Perfekt Chaos” – free electronic dance album from Enough Records

In[Perfektion] is a Portuguese music project that began back in 2005. The band is composed of two former members of the now-defunct band Twilight Garden. The members of the band In[Perfektion] are Walter, who provides the vocals and is on the synths, and guitars; Charlotte, who is on synths and programming, and Hypecrash, a Live Member on the synths. Their third release, "Perfekt Chaos," is a five-track dark electro EP that was originally released in 2007. Now, the EP has been remastered is now available for free download via the netlabel Enough Records.
