Emmy Curl's latest EP, Origins, yearns to find a sense of wonder in the world. The Portugal-born musician grew up with a lot of interest in arts such as music, painting, theater, and photography. In the early age of 15, Curl had already produced songs in her father's studio.

Ephera: Wonky EP

Skillfully mixing 8-bit, dubstep, hip hop and experimental electronica in their sound, Ephera creates a surreal musical dreamland in their music. Wonky EP is the latest effort from the now duo of Billy Gsellmann and Will Baker. Containing a whole fusion of genres, the album seems tailor made for bodies throbbing on a rave or club dance floor. The EP contains 6 tracks and was released on October 2012.

Curious Absurdities or CA for short, is a new label that caters to different genres of electronic music. Rushmore/Twin Cabins: Clementine

Clementine is a quiet, sometimes shoegaze-inspired compilation record done by solo singer/songwriter, Rushmore. Also known as Twin Cabins, the musical project is spearheaded by Mexico City-born, Nacho Cano. Cano was exposed to music at a young age and began to record through throughout his adolescence. He has accumulated a number of recordings, which were mostly done in his bedroom. Most of the tracks he does are dreamy and represent a portion of the songwriter’s loneliness and his youth.

Narrow Sparrow: Synthworks

Although a bit bizarre when you first listen to it, Synthworks from Narrow Sparrow grows on you over time. This short compilation is only 4-tracks long but there's enough things to dissect and check out that makes it highly entertaining. Enveloped in a hazy, spacey sound, the background music are quite random but when the singing starts, it's easy to see its charm. Narrow Sparrow comes from Chicago and is made up of Ricky, Dina and Matt.

Friends With The Help: Confidence

Friends with the Help is a trio made up of Low Lux, Young Nige, and DJ K-Rec. Hailing from Toronto, Confidence is the group's second release. Their first release was a mixtape with 17 tracks. Ever since, they've honed their sound to create not only great beats or spinning awesome samples but to also include authentic lyrics as they share their stories. Confidence is equipped with 13 tracks where the boys showcase more tricks up their sleeves. Their expert use of samples and vivid storytelling makes for an entertaining listen.

All India Radio: Free Me (Remixes & Outtakes)

All India Radio is a four piece crew from the land down under. Even if you've never heard of them, chances are you might have encountered their songs from TV shows like CSI: Miami, One Tree Hill or Australia's premiere series, Bondi Rescue. They've released 8 albums since 2000 and continue to impress as well as win over more listeners thanks to their ambient sound. Their mix of hypnotic downbeat electronica serves as a lush soundscape that listeners can easily get lost in. Free Me (Remixes & Outtakes) contains a collection of released/remixed and previously unreleased songs that's offered by the boys for free.

RBTO: INVERSE

Turn your your dull room or workplace into the ultimate chill out zone with RBTO’s newest musical offering entitled Inverse. Released last April 26, this album features ten tracks of flavorful hip-hop music. Born in Hong Kong but currently based in the Philippines, Roberto better knows as RBTO is an MC and producer who roots his musical begginings at the early age of 7, where he started to write songs and was introduced to beat boxing. RBTO’s love for hiphop officialy started in 2006 when he met People’s Future, a Manila-based MC group. Aside from being an MC and producer, RBTO is also an independent artist, writer, a composer, and a lyricist.
