Thula Borah: Live Secretly

After releasing their highly acclaimed debut album, Mind River Matter; Thula Borah brings in another anticipated EP in, Live Secretly. This Glasgow quartet is made up of trio, Lloyd, Matt and Kev. Building up a post rock, melancholic sound, the boys capture a quiet uneasiness in their songs that would make you feel as if you're deep down an empty well looking up. Despite being low key, the band's songs have received airplay from BBC One, Radio North Angus and Amazing Radio to name a few.

Superpoze: The Iceland Sound EP

Twenty year old French instrumentalist, Superpoze is making his second appearance here in the Frostclick blog. His previous album, Lost Cosmonaut, introduced us to his brand of downtempo hip hop inspired tracks. The Iceland Sound EP is his latest effort and it's as exciting as his previous releases. His resident sound is still present. Although this time, he incorporates a more laid-back, chillout style that's both soothing as well as hypnotic.

Currently based Utrecht, The Netherlands, Joăo Pedro Costa, better known as Lasers, is a Portuguese beat-maker that has been recently creating a lot of buzz on the online music scene. Released under Bad Panda Records, this EP offers 11 tracks (including some tasteful remixes) that plays along the territories of electro and ambient.

Time and time again Cut Music has proven that if you ever need a fix for some ambient electronic dub compilation, they're the place to visit. One of their latest offerings is this three song piece from Swedish producer, Totte Stankovich or simply Totte. Spending My Days EP provides a solid soundtrack for those chill out summer nights where you'd want to relax and party all night long. He's included three of his personal favorite tracks to share with his fans in this compilation.

Shaking Through: Selected Tracks Vol 1 & 2

When emerging indie artists collaborate into a pristine musical project, you can only expect nothing but the best. Produced by Weathervane Music and WXPN in Philadephia, Shaking Through: Selected Tracks Volumes 1 & 2 is part of a documentary series that shows the birth song of 10 indie bands each year. This particular album is a selection from well loved tracks from the first two installments.

Splitter: Lost At Sea

Releasing their latest effort, Lost at Sea; it seems Splitter has picked a rather appropriate title for their latest record. Fusing electronic and dance music, with a healthy dose of catchy beats; this is an album that's worthy as a soundtrack to a chill night out with friends or if you simply feel like peering out of the world's kaleidoscope and getting lost in it. This is the third record for the band. It was released in August 2011 and offered with a name-your-price option over at BandCamp.

Eric Delay: Four Moments

After years of absence, Eric Delay is back with an intriguing new EP that shows him in his best shape. Four Moments is the result of rediscovering his own music and style. The artist supposedly had to "deny all the familiar sounds of the standard moves, starting with a blank face, not knowing what to get" while he was creating the tracks. The compilation is composed of minimal sounds that resonate in an ambient electronic groove. From beginning to end, you get a beautiful airy atmosphere filled with subtle instruments and sample.

Wake Owl: Wild Country EP

You wouldn’t imagine that one album can make you feel so much. But Wake Owl’s Wild Country EP harnesses our deep emotions, growing them into a garden teeming with bittersweet symphonies. The Vancouver-based folk/rock collective is the creative brainchild of performer/songwriter Colyn Cameron. Written for over seven months and released last November 2011, this five-track EP has already made its own buzz in the indie scene.
