Break

Most of you might be familiar of the retro game, Arkanoid. The main point of the game was to bounce a ball off a moving platform in order to break down various colored bricks. This was a very popular game during the time and quite a lot of remakes were done along with a similar gameplay. Break is another one of these remakes but this time, it's set and made perfect for the iPad platform. The game was developed by Jirbo Inc. and made available as a free download on iTunes. It works on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. If you are too young to remember Arkanoid, then you might want to give this game a try. Definitely good fun.

Eastern Phoebes: Wampum

Wampun is the debut album of indie folk pop duo Eastern Phoebes. Made up of Ry Smith and Meg Bayley, the power couple formed back in January 2010. They started out with Ry recording songs he wrote and asked Meg to "sing and clap on a bunch of tunes." From them on, they have been unstoppable; recording and releasing several EPs, like Rods of Energy, as well as this full length record in just a year. Wampum is their official debut and carries 10 heartfelt, catchy indie pop tracks that will surely become a soundtrack to your warm and lazy summer afternoons. The album was also the band's official entry into the RPM Challenge.

The program offers an unlimited home edition that features all the basic requirements you need.

Tsars: Whispers EP

Fairly new in the indie music world, Tsars only got together early this year. Considering the short time, the guys have managed to release two compilations. Whispers EP is their first official debut and contains 6 tracks bordering on indie alternative to a floaty Brit hipster sound. Their sound is reminiscent of lazy hipster rock and makes me think of The Cribs only more melancholic. Made up of Alexi Mcnulty Bakas (Vocals/ Guitar), Corey Eyres (Guitar/ B.Vocals), Ross Powley (Bass/ B.Vocals) and Lawrence Artitzone (Drums/ B.Vocals.) They've been playing around together in different bands before deciding to form this one.

The Machine

The Machine is a colorful new game that you can download and play for free. Even though it's just a demo, it's still pretty entertaining and worth checking out. The game is very logical so don't expect to figure this one out via hit or miss. In the game, you are an assigned engineer who creates blocks, both colored and not colored. Your job though consists of creating a machine to create the blocks that you need. You'll have several parts at your disposal that you would need to assemble and put together the machine in order to start production.
