Coroner for the Police: Swamp Box

Despite being a new band (they formed in the early part of 2012,) Coroner for the Police already has a knack for capturing the listener's attention. Thanks to their upbeat and loud indie rockish sound, it's easy to jive along to their music. The four piece Manchester crew is made up of Dave Labrow , Nathan Kai Wright, John Simm and Dan Woolfie. Swamp Box is their first EP and was released last May 2012. They have plans of creating another short compilation by the end of the year.

Pinhead Records: International Punk Rock Superstars Vol. 5

In the mood for some loud, fast and energetic punk rock? Check out Pinhead Records' latest release. It's a goldmine of new and up-and-coming punk rock bands. Pinhead Records is a fairly new label hailing from Tampa, Florida and caters to punk as well as ska music. Run by a self-described "17-year-old douchebag," you'll find that it's a haven for discovering great new punk music from various indie bands. International Punk Rock Superstars Vol. 5 is a massive 26-track compilation and it's enough to give you something to rock on to for the entire night.

Monk Turner: Kaleidoscope

Monk Turner's name might as well be synonymous with awesome, catchy and creative music. His exciting concept albums have always garnered a positive response. This time around, with friends in tow, his latest album Kaleidoscope, is looking to live up to expectation and deliver more. This is his 23rd concept album so far. Tackling on the rather serious subject of race and color; he collaborates with fellow musicians, poets, artists from different backgrounds, beliefs and culture. Together, they peel back the many layers of the subject while fusing it with catchy rhythm, heavenly sweet vocals and gorgeous beats.

Jeremy Clay Price: Acquired Taste EP

His first foray into recording and releasing an EP, Jeremy Clay Price's Acquired Taste EP is a collection of mellow tracks written over a span of 8 years. The album is a gorgeous collection of melodic pop rock cuts that represent a personal journey for the singer. Singing about his Christian faith and reflections on life, most of the cuts are quite expressive. It was recorded with a long time producer friend Toby Baxley and comes with 5 simple but heartwarming songs worth noting.

Sea Oleena: Sleeplessness

Released in September of 2011, Sleeplessness instantly brings to mind thoughts of calm and cheerful spring afternoons. Recorded by Canadian dream-folk singer, Sea Oleena; the album is what you'd hear in the background if you decided to go and soak up the sunshine in a day where everything seems destined to go right. This is the second compilation from the singer and like her debut self-titled record , this is also available at a pay-what-you-want option over at her BandCamp.

Geeter and Ritchcraft: Beyoutofull

Montgomery emcee, Geeter, and producer, Ritchcraft work together to create a powerful and "beyoutofull" record. Composed of 9 tracks, Beyoutofull is a flourishing collection of gorgeous and catchy beats. Geeter is an Alabama native. He grew up in what is considered as one of the worst neighborhoods in the area called King Hill and used his experiences to create lyrics for his music. On the other hand, Ritchcraft, is a Canadian producer/beatmaster that can pretty much create some seriously catchy piece for anyone to enjoy. Together, they create an album whose tracks would easily become a hit in your playlist.

Sound Healers: Sound Healers Vol 1

If you want some smooth and eclectic semi-instrumental cuts to keep you company, Sound Healers Vol. 1 would be a great candidate. The album consists of 14 interesting tracks from various talented producers. Compiled by Leeds producer, Bambooman, it was done "to help shed light on some amazing forward thinking producers from across the globe." You'll find tracks from artists like Blank and Kytt, Deft, Zack Christ, Daneat, Sina, Rooflight, Kashmere, as well as Bambooman himself.

Paolo Pavan: Second

Beautifully endearing, Second is a record that soars with skillful piano work from Italian pianist, Paolo Pavan. Born in Rome in 1970, he grew up studying music and has been taken under the tutelage of teachers like Stefano Sabatini and Riccardo Biseo. He has a degree in piano as well as classical studies. Thanks to this early exposure, the artist has released several compilations containing his original compositions. Second, is the latest in his catalogue and proves to be a soothing, reverie-filled piano piece.

State Of The Artist: Slopes

Teaming up to create this exciting hip hop extravaganza, Ski Team and State of the Artist ensures listeners will be pleased with their recent collaboration effort. Both outfits have worked together before but they've decided to bring it up a notch by delivering this 12-track compilation with the help of some of the most talented MCs in their roster. Slopes is filled with great party jams and mad rhymes from the SOTA (State of the Artist) boys.
