Drifty Chase from Crimson Pine Games is an action game based on a simple premise: rob banks and race off, trying to avoid the cops. But this isn’t as easy as it sounds because the city is crowded, and you’ll need to use all your skills to navigate. The game is easy to pick up and hard to put down, period.
The controls are simple enough as it is all one-touch. You just tap and swipe your way around to make turns, and there are directions which tell you what to do. There are 10 city banks to rob and 10 cars to get, so there’s plenty of tapping and swiping to do here.
A clean left or right swipe is necessary to do a 90 degree turn. As you make each turn, pay attention to the signs as they’ll tell you what you have to do next. It sounds simple yes, but the challenge is timing the drift, not how to do it.
The 3D graphics look great, and the sound effects are appropriate for the game as well. The perspective view is nice and the game plays smoothly too. Like other casual mobile games, Drifty Chase will lead to many early game overs, but you’ll want to keep coming back and try getting your hands on the money.
If you’re a fan of cops and robbers or just want to play a good mobile game, give Drifty Chase a try. It’s a lot of fun and will have you tapping and swiping for a good while.
