Open Freely is free Windows program that allows you to open more than 100 different file formats. Developed by Blue Labs, you can use it to open files from Word, WordPerfect, Excel and Adobe as well as audio video formats like mpeg, 3gp, and .flac and images too.
Open Freely also lets you open images including popular ones such as .gif, .jpg, .bmp and .png. Once it opens, you’ll no longer need to use different applications as this one can do the job easily. Aside from letting you open different file types, you can use Open Freely to view, print and edit documents and images.
As pointed out earlier, the application allows you to listen to audio and watch videos, making this an ideal media player. The same media player can also be used to play audio files in different formats. In addition, the application has a document editor complete with formatting, printing capabilities, spell checking and other features.
If that’s not enough, Open Freely also comes with a file extractor so you can open or extract .rar or .zip files. You can also use this to create compressed files on the fly. The application also has an advanced hex editor that gives you control over the files you open.
