GoPro app is the official app for the GoPro camera, courtesy of Woodman Labs, and it’s definitely a must. With this you get more from your camera using either the iOS, Android or Windows Phone. It’s basically a way of remotely controlling your camera and making the sharing process easier, but it can do more.
The app can do a lot of things, starting with the fact that you get full remote control functionality of your camera, and you can use the HiLight tag to highlight important movements. You also have the option to preview your photos and play it back. Once you’re done, you can share the photos or videos via email, Twitter, Facebook or text.
The app also gives you access to the official GoPro channel and find the latest videos from around the world. Apart from giving you remote access to all your camera’s important functions, you can literally see what the camera is seeing. This is a really convenient feature especially if you’re framing shots and want to make sure everything is all right.
The HiLight tags are especially useful for playback and you have the option to copy videos and images to your IOS, Android or Widows device and share them on Facebook, Twitter or email. Other useful features include the ability to delete and browse files on your camera’s SD and see the GoPro picture of the day. The GoPro app also lets you update your camera software’s, username and password wirelessly. For all its features though, the app is easy to use.
