Looney Tunes Dash from Zynga is a runner that will have you running, sliding, jumping and smashing with Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird, Road Runner and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang. Though the premise is similar to most other endless runner games, it’s a lot of fun and you can unlock more levels with each running accomplishment.
When you reach the goals in a level, you’ll see more Looney Tunes characters, and it’s good to see that the environment is set in the familiar Looney Tunes world. Each character also has special abilities and a collector’s card that add a different dimension to the game.
The game is divided into themed zones, and the first has Bugs Bunny trying to get away from Elmer Fudd and it’s in a forest. The next zone is in a desert where Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote are found. Here you control Road Runner as he runs from Wile E. Coyote.
The other Looney Tunes characters show up throughout the game, and they actually make things more challenging. For instance, the Tasmanian Devil will suddenly appear and take down a tree that you have to go over rapidly. You will also see Marvin the Martian in his UFO suddenly appear as well as Daffy Duck who’ll try to snatch your loot.
This might sound confusing, but it’s actually a lot of fun since it creates that immersive feeling and you really like you’re in Looney Tunes. Although the game is challenging, it isn’t as difficult as other runners so you’ll enjoy it.
