Splashy Fish from Massiomo Guareschi is a deceptively simple game where you tap the screen of your mobile device to make your fish fly. In addition to teaching your fish how to roam about, you also have to get by the obstacles in your way, discover treasures and rack up points and beat other players.
If you have played Flappy Bird or a similar game you’ll get the hang of Splashy Fish quickly, and even if you haven’t it’s easy to figure out. In Splashy Fish you control a flying fish and try to keep him from hitting pipes and the many other objects around him. That’s really all there is to it, and the controls are no different from other flappy flyer games out there.
Splashy Fish is very easy to learn and pick up, and while the graphics aren’t as flashy as those of other games, it is very addictive, and most importantly it doesn’t take more than a couple of minutes to play. But due to its nature you can easily end up playing the game more often.
The bottom line is Splashy Fish isn’t just another Flappy Bird clone, because while it takes a lot of elements from that game there are some original elements built in. If you’re looking for a flappy flyer game that offers more than the other Flappy Bird clones, then Splashy Fish is what you are looking for. It is easy to learn but difficult to master, which are the ingredients for a good game.
