The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising 2 is a resource management game that will require you to construct temples while keeping your enemies at bay. The sequel to the original hit Pyramid Rising, Bloodbuzz Studios has returned with a title that offers better graphics and more stuff to build and maintain.
Pharaoh Touti and his friends are back for another adventure, and it begins when a priest uncovers a mysterious scroll stating that the end of Egypt will come if they don’t build eight large temples. It’s your task to build these temples and others before the moon cycle comes to a close, otherwise Egypt will be lost.
If you’re into anything Egyptian you’ll definitely love this game. There are several levels available, and the fact that you’re racing against the clock makes this an even bigger challenge compared to other simulation games. Aside from the eight temples you also have to get those gold scarabs and work to make your palace bigger, all of which translates to addictive gameplay.
Just like other resource management games on mobile, Pyramid Rising 2 requires careful management of resources and making sure your workers have all their needs met. Completing the tasks though, will require strategies, something you need to work on. Fortunately the game isn’t going to have you splitting hairs, and you can unlock new features as you advance.
Bottom line, Timebuilders Pyramid Rising 2 is a worthy sequel and much better than the first. The graphics are better and the game is being updated frequently. If you’re into resource management and ancient Egypt, this is a game worth checking out.
