CSR Classics is the latest in the CSR series from developer NaturalMotion, and it is one of their best yet. Now you have the opportunity to race the Mercedes 300 SL, Chevrolet Camaro, Gran Torino and other classics against each other. There’s nothing like this before in mobile gaming and the graphics and sound is first rate.
The game follows the formula of the other CSR games but Classics add a nice number of other features including restoring these classics, a really nice touch. There are two types of cars in the game: “loved” which are in good condition, and ‘unloved” which need repair. The unloved ones are cheaper of course and you need to add the engine, tires, change the body work and so on.
The good news is the game gives you enough cash in the start to get a classy car and you can use it to engage in underground street racing. Another thing going for CSR Classics is that it is a drag race, so you don’t have to worry about brakes or steering and the only thing you need to do is master your reflex and timing.
Controlling the car involves nothing more than tapping the gas for speed and shifting. And if the regular speed isn’t enough you can use nitrous. In addition you can engage in battle races so things don’t get repetitive.
If you’re a fan of the CSR series you can’t pass this one up and anyone who likes racing games will enjoy this one as well.
