MonsterCrafter is a digital pet game, but unlike those commonly found in this genre, its developer Naquatic has added elements of monster crafting and battling, so it is a lot more fun. Yes it has the elements you love in digital pets, but there’s more to it than that.
The objective of the game is to create monsters, train and care for them. It’s very important that you nurture them carefully as it will affect their performance in battle. In fact your relationship with your pet monster influences everything it does, so you need to do the best you can. Once you build your pet monster it will come to life and you can start feeding it.
The world here in MonsterCrafter is full of monsters that other players have produced, and when yours is ready it is time to do battle. The battles take place in multiplayer mode, and the nice thing about it is there is no lag and everything moves around swiftly. The lack of waiting time here is due to the built-in Quick Match mechanism, and this makes for some really fast action.
The graphics in this game are quite good and so are the sound effects, but more than that it is the gameplay that will keep you hooked. The gaming controls are not that difficult to master and it won’t take long before your pet gets ready to do battle. While it is primarily a digital pet game, there are also elements of dungeon crawling here, adding to the excitement.
