Air Dagger by indie developer Elbert Perez is one of the most challenging and enjoyable games for Windows Phone. You play the role of a rookie pilot who flies for one of three corporations, and it is your job as the corporation’s ace pilot to showcase the power of the Air Dagger. Along the way you get to perform several missions and you will need all your skills to dispose of your rivals.
The first thing you do is to decide which of the three companies: AeroSpek Union, Black Air Tech or Rinko Group to work for. After you join you’ll get to fly numerous missions. The flight controls are easy to use: just tilt your plane backwards, forwards, left or right. To fire your guns, tap the screen, and tapping the enemy aircraft will launch your missiles.
You can also upgrade your plane for the tougher missions ahead and you can collect coins too. The game interface is clear and you can easily see your energy meter, the coins and your lives. As you play the game an icon of an airplane will show up indicating how far you have progressed. Collecting coins isn’t that hard as you can get plenty of them as you blast your opponents away. The more coins you collect the more weapons you can get.
Air Dagger is an exciting game and it’s really one of the best air combat games available on Windows Phone. It is fast paced and since your score is uploaded on an online scoreboard, you can compete against your friends, making the game even more fun than it is.
