Battle Alert is a military strategy game from Xing Cloud. It’s a fun take at the military strategy genre and it offers many features that set it apart from others. While the graphics are on the cartoony side, the game is very engaging. You start things off by building bases and collecting resources, but there’s a lot more to it.
After you have laid down the buildings and managed your resources, you’ll be able to add missiles and turrets around the base. The nice thing about the game is there is a lot of variety, so you will see a lot of foot soldiers and very powerful tanks. There are also some very cool flamethrowers and striders that can give you more firepower.
Battle Alert has a huge campaign mode that showcases scenarios that will give you an idea of what is in store ahead for your troops. As in other strategy games for the iOS, you have the opportunity to earn money to upgrade your bases, get new weapons and other equipment. You will need all these of course, to wage battle and destroy your enemies.
In short, Battle Alert is a lot of fun. However this doesn’t mean you can just jump in and run everyone over as you have to strategize quite a bit. Fortunately the game controls are very easy to pick up so you can play the game quickly. If you like to strategize and is something of a military armchair general, this will appeal to you. It isn’t the easiest strategy game on the iOS, but it’s a lot of fun.
