Combine cool neon-against-black graphics, awesome techno score and a one-of-a-kind gameplay and you have Probe L. This awesome arcade puzzle game sees you moving your “probe” into the yellow energy fields. You can’t make the probe move directly though, you have to use the red beacons scattered across the field to move it.
This game combines a fun gameplay, your wits and a pretty funky soundtrack to complete your perfect afternoon break.
When you want to move your probe (blue dot), you need to use the beacons (red) to move it, making it a bit tricky to decide which beacon to use at any one time. Each red beacon is placed strategically on your game screen to try and whittle your puzzle solving powers. The purple lines in your screen actually restarts the level if you touch them, so avoid them at all costs unless you want to start again. There are also different types of enemies lurking everywhere so be wary of those as well.
Figuring out how to get to the yellow energy fields is simple, but it’s the actual maneuvering and fighting off the enemy that makes this game quite challenging.
There’s hardly anything to complain about in this game. You get good graphics, an awesome score and the gameplay is fun and very challenging. Definitely something that you wouldn’t mind wasting a couple of hours on since it’ll be worth it.
